Aegis Computer Services first opened its doors in 1997. With less than a handful of staff, it began the now 10 year journey into the world of Small Business and carved a niche in the world of computer service in the Tallahassee area.
As soon as 2000, Aegis had grown in size and strength and received the first nod from the business world as Nominee for the Small Business Excellence Award, for businesses with 1-9 employees, from the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
In 2002, Aegis and its owners were honored by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship with the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. After just five years of being in business, Aegis was being recognized for growth and excellence in service and sales.
Aegis was presented the Small Business Giant Award in May 2004, followed by the honor of the 2004 Technology Business of the Year, both from the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. These awards acknowledged and firmly established Aegis Computer Services as a leader in the small business community of Tallahassee.
Aegis was again recognized and honored in 2006 with both the Best of Tallahassee award from Tallahassee Magazine for Best Computer Services and Repairs,
and again as the 2006 Technology Business of the Year from The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce.
Aegis continues to focus on what we believe to be the foundation of our success - our customers. Without the business successes of our clients, Aegis could not be eligible for the recognition we have achieved in the technology industry.
